if you dont need a jump/ break cue
based on the type of games you play
a 1 butt 2 shaft case is all you need
i cant foresee why you would need 2 butts and 2 shafts if you dont need a break/jump cue..
maybe you could explain why you would want a 2x2
if you are thinking
one playing butt and one shaft
and a jump break with one shaft
i advise against that
if for some reason your playing shaft gets damaged you have no back up

Dennis Swift will whip up a case and delivered to you in a months time approx. I guess the more detail would be longer. The guy has some serious skills, he has been around a long time.
I bought a katana 2 x 2 and its been working great. Tight fit, so you have to be careful to remove shafts before the butts. It has a compression lid which is hard to remove until you get the technique down. Affordable and minimalistic case.
