Does anyone have the 3/8 10 .308 flat minor tap that atlas carries? I would like to buy one but atlas is out of stock and has been for a while. So if anyone has one they are willing to part with let me know.

why do you need a different tap?? just bore your hole to .308 and tap..
I'd give Bryan Mordt a call. I think he might have one, i believe he sells the pins for that.

you won't find them at atlas anymore about 3-4 years ago when chad worked there he had a machine shop that made these piloted taps for the .308 flat minor Dia. pin with a .308 pilot and a .306 pilot i use the .308 for the butt then i bore the hole to .306 for the shaft for a very tight fit here's what they Look Like hope you find one it's the best tool in my shop i wouldn't part with either for xxx amount of Dollars.
I called atlas about these and they said they are getting a lot of requests for them lately so they are getting in touch with a machine shop to make them again. They said it will be at least a couple weeks before they get any is though. I will try to get ahold of Bryan after the holiday to see if he has any thanks.
