3/8-10 taps

I had a guy ask if I could make a replacement shaft for his McDermott. I didn't have any way to measure the pin at the bar, but I assume it's a 3/8-10. I started looking into getting a tap and found two 3/8-10 taps at Atlas. One is listed as a "Zero Limit". What's the difference between the standard 3/8-10 and this "Zero Limit" tap?

This one would be nice.... if you can find one.

It may have to do with the H limit of the tap, which is a size thing within a particular tap size. You can get tighter or looser fits with different limits. Here is an good page explaining H limits and other esoteric tap trivia : http://www.newmantools.com/taps/taptech.htm

PS I'm not a cuemaker and have never tapped in wood so I have no idea what might work well in those situations ... but I did buy my first roll-form tap the other day and I love the threads it produces in aluminum :) , not that anyone cares

I was going to get one of these (they were on clearance), but I was too late. They're sold out.

I'm still curious about the "Zero Limit". Another responder mentioned the H limit. I guess that could be it. Maybe if it's H0 (dead on) they call it "Zero Limit" !?!?!?!? That would make it a really tight thread! Anybody know for sure.
