I would get a Schmelke M or R series for $250 or less, plus you get a complete cue that way. Or you could go Keilwood for twice the price. I have one M series I use as a breaker and one R series as my sneaky pete (cocobolo), as shown below

One side note: I think Schmelke has changed their finish process as I saw another R series made after mine that had a different hue (almost a little milky?) on the bacote points...
