3/8x11 pin question

I have read lots of info here on AZ about the 3/8x11 pin. I'm having some cue work done and I still haven't figured out what the differences are with the 311. 312, 280, etc. minor of the bolt. I'm trying to have all future cues use the same bolt so I'm hoping to find out if a standard modified 3/8x11 has been adopted yet? If not are there any recommendations as to which is the most common? Thanks

Stick with the flat bottom .3125 minor .
That's the SW style.
I have asked the most popular joint screw maker to stop making them at less than 5/16 minor.
The .308 minor just confuses the market .

If the radial screw is standard ( except the imports ), 3/8 11 should be too imo.

Morning:
Have you seen my can of worms?
Has Mrs. Franklin or Mr. Omen switched yet?
It wasn't broke before so why are you trying to fix it?
Just sayin

Where can this pin be purchased in brass? Thank you.

I think Prathers carries it but I'm not sure. Be sure to see if your Cue maker is set up to use it first. Not all Cue makers use the joint screw you the customer chooses.
