The design of the 6 point red & black veneers is coincidentally reminiscent of a Verl Horn design.
There are two paison cue makers highly talented.…Nitti & Capone…..and Chris is truly amazing.
His Navaho Cue on Recollection Cue’s website is captivating and stands alone for its uniqueness.
The 3 cues on this thread exemplify what he can do in terms of immaculate workmanship & beauty.
Very lovely! I should be getting mine some time mid next year. Have resisted the urge to ask for pictures or reach out about it since good things come to those who wait.
What amazes me about Chris Nitti cues is the sharpness of the inlayed items with points, for those less familiar with cue building the pockets for inlays are cut with a round bit therefore the tips typically are not sharp like you see in a spliced point. On Nitti cues they are all very sharp which is difficult and time consuming to do. Its has to be done by hand and he uses a lot of pointed inlays. It really says something about the attention to detail and effort to make his cues as nice as they can be. I have owned hundreds of cues many from the best makers in the world and I have built cues very seldom have I seen inlays as well done as Mr. Nitti's
