3 Cushion USA has one vision and one mission. In keeping with the sentiment of the late, great Sang Lee, we aim to Make Billiards Beautiful in America.
We will plan, organize and direct tournaments around the country for 3 cushion players of all levels. We intend to work tirelessly to have every tournament have certain characteristics:
· A clean, safe and fun environment;
· As large a player field as the time and space will allow;
· Substantial prize funds;
· Entertainment and/or instructional events when possible;
· Good sportsmanship.
One of the hallmarks of 3 cushion billiards is sportsmanship. 3 Cushion USA intends to promote a strict return to the basics of player self-control, courtesy and fairness that are the trademark of the “gentleman’s game.”
Our focus will be on all player levels and bringing excitement back to the sport. We want every player to enjoy the thrill of an attainable prize fund. We want to share the showmanship and expertise of wonderful artists with our members.
We hope to grow our 3 Cushion USA membership by charging a nominal fee ($25 annually), which in turn will help us provide more added money as time goes by. We are working diligently on sponsorship in order to achieve the most benefits for our members.
Join with us, play billiards and become part of this unique camaraderie as we all strive to grow and enhance this game to ultimately Make Billiards Beautiful in America.
