Here are three new additions to my good friend, Stan Haines', collection. Hopefully him and I will be displaying together in Kansas City's ICCS show in October.

First is probably my favorite gambler themed cue I have ever seen. The cue is by Art Contando. The scrimshaw work by Sandra Brady is incredible. These picture don't come close to doing the cue justice.

The next cue is an ultra modern design by Bill Stroud at Josswest. The cue is awsome on person. Maybe the best abalone I have ever seen.

The third cue is by far the nicest Travis Niklich's cue ever. The impregnated amboyna forearm is amazing. New silver ring design is very innovative. Travis absolutely pushed the envelope this time. Stunning in person.

Great looking cues and they are even more impressive in person.
Any chance there are pictures of the entire forearm including the joint?
Would love to see them again.
Thanks for the post!

Sorry Myron, I didn't take the pictures. These are the only shots I have available...............

Great cues...GREAT CUES!!! I had the pleasure of making the trip to VF with Jimmy and Stan and got to see these cues up close. The work in all 3 is masterful. The pics are just a glimpse of what these cues are like in person.

Thumbs Up - Stan

The Cantando is the NUTS and the picture does not due the cue justice. You have too many cues Stan. Save some for us.
thanks for posting the pictures Jimmy.

Collection

Jimmy,
Me and Chad got to see his collection at Indy this year. Wow that guy has some serious cues. The blackcreek was awesome would have never guessed that it was one of travis's (ring work is sweet).

Nice

Cantando: That scrimshaw is very unique
Josswest: The abalone is super and what a conception of design
Blackreek: Travis is getting better and better isn't he

Very nice choice of colors and ideas put together here as well the execution, Thanks for sharing.

......

Nice Cue's Jimmy :)

Thanks for sharing the pics buddy.

Are you in good heatley condition now ??

I was wondering what type of inlay is in travis's butt that looks like ivory trimmed arrows with perhaps mother of pearl? Looks fantastic.

Thanks for the concern and yes I am almost back to full speed. My shoulder is probably 90% and getting better.

The long arrows are silver outlined in black and the long ivory diamonds have black mother of pearl inside.

When Travis first pulled out the cue for Stan and I to see, we were amazed. By far the nicest cue I had seen of Travis'.

Thanks,
Jimmy

I voted best of show for this Blackcreek at the Super Billiards Expo. In addition Stan let me hold the Cantando, it too is very sweet.
Thanks for posting the three lovelies.
