That's a pretty cool way of organizing stuff that normally just ends up in a jumbled mess at the bottom of that compartment.

Buuuuut.... If you want to go even farther down that rabbit hole, there are companies (Savior is one that I've used) that make Velcro backed clear zipper pouches for rifle bags and such. They even have a Velcro strip across the front for a rubber-like label/placard. If there's a good way to get the loop part of the Velcro attached to the inside of that compartment, you'd be able to add pouches in just about any configuration you'd like and change them around at will. The pouches also have the added benefit of being soft. So things wouldn't rattle around inside.

If you’re not traveling and just heading to league or local pool hall, what do you need to carry with you that all this is needed?
Here is what I carry:
- Bridge head (just in case)
- A piece of chalk on a magnetic clip
- Tip scuffer
- Glove
- 2 alcohol wipes
- A towel
All these (except the towel) fit in the smaller upper pouch of most cases

The towel goes in tje long pouch with the two parts of the jump cue handle. And sometimes a rolled magic rack.
The extension goes in the jump cue pocket.

Anyone else feel that cues case pockets design on hard cases are outdated?

I like to keep all of my pool related stuff in one place. And that place happens to be my cue case because if I take things out and leave them at home they're likely to end up somewhere in the shadow realm. I'm sure I'll see them again sometime but it won't be when I need them. I also like to put my phone and keys in my cue case or coat pocket when I'm playing because I don't like feeling them press against the table when I stretch for a shot.

I do my own tips so I have a tool box for my tools and I keep in it all my pool stuff, so no shadow realm…
I used to carry a lot of stuff in my case but really no need.
Once I take the jump cue out, there is a lot of space to put my phone, wallet and keys in the case but honestly I usually just leave them in my pockets

Where did you get the 3 sec case?
That is more interesting as they are really hard to find
I almost bought one at apa nationals.. they were everywhere but seem to be hard to find on the internet. I decided I was ordering a custom jb so I didn’t get one

I have a JB case.
I'm not a big fan of the insert, everything is too tight, I got a 3x6 to be used as a 2x4 / 2x5 so it won't be too tight.
There are pros and cons to JB cases just like to any other.
I'm thinking about a 3sec as it is lighter.
I so a video in which JB replaced the interior of the 3sec with his interior. He actually said that the 3sec i well built and the protection is OK, not as good as his but OK, I've never heard him say that on any other production cases with soft dividers.
