30" Ignite shaft for 3/8×10

I was told that a stock 3/8 x 10 Mezz ignite shaft will not fit a modified 3/8 x 10 pin. Do I have it wrong? Was this shaft a special order to fit both? types ?
 
Someone must have it wrong because this shaft fits my Mcdermott and my Cohen and my Carmeli. It wasn't special order. All my modified shafts fit both pins. My Mcdermott shaft only fits on a standard pin. So the Ignite must be tapped for modified so it fits both. I've had a few factory 3/8 ×10 Ignite and they always fit both pins. I'm assuming when Mezz says stock they are referring to their wavy pin which in basically a 3/8×10, (actually 3/8×9) pin but not like either of the others, the standard and the modified. It's their own version. That's all I got.
