Can someone explain why a 30" shaft is desirable. Of course, I get the added length for tall people. I also understand how the balance point would change slightly. Thanks in advance.
people try new things ... it seems to work ... they use it for a while ... try a 29 inch shaft again and go back .... basically the flow is ... however i feel today is what i do until i change ... people think there is black magic in new things ... its not just do what you like and what works ..
it is 1 inch difference than a standard shaft ... i have 30inch shafts 29inch shaft ... i litterally dont care which one i pick up
there are no set variables that make a perfect player for every one person .. everyone will like what they like and play well with what they end up with. pool is a journey ... you have to find that piece of equipment that works for you. it can be a 50$ cue or a $6k cue ...
My last four builds have been 30/30. Balance point (butt vs shaft) is about the same but the extra length has been helpful for some playing predominantly on 9’ tables.
