314-2, 314-2 fat, OB2 or a Tiger shaft?

Hi guys I wanted to buy a new shaft for my Samsara/Ikon cues and am wondering which one might be better. 314-2, 314-2 fat, OB2 or a Tiger shaft?

I am now shooting with a customized 12.25mm 314-2 shaft. The shaft does give a considerable amount of spin but I feel a lil more stiffness would help my game. I have alternate z2 and hybrid shafts but z2 seems too hard to handle while lucasi hybrid turns out to be too stiff.

I am wondering if tiger make stiff shafts with low deflection? How about 314 Fat? 'designed for Taiwanese pros' does sounds kinda attractive to me.

Any ideas would help I appreciate your insights.
 
I have tried ob1 which was very whippy, overall i find 314-2 fat better than all if you like bigger diameter, If you are going to turn it down anyways than buy a 314-2. Even I like mezz shafts
I saw ronnie alcano using a tiger x shaft while he was here for a tournament in Thailand.

I think all these companies are doing a lot a research and development to improve their products, so possibly you cannot go wrong with either of them

I would suggest you visit a pro shop and try the shafts and see which one fits best to your game.

Have you ever shoot with a TigerX? I feel like 314 does not give enough power some times...
 
I have tried the 314, tiger, mcdermott and ob1 laminated shafts. I just recently added the OB classic. It is the best aftermarket shaft I have tried. Nice solid hit with the forgiveness of LD shafts. Its a keeper.

Which Tiger shaft did you try? I've tried the Tiger X Pro with the Onyx tip and thought it was very solid.

Dominiak a possibility

Have you tried a Dominiak D2 or his new D3??

Personally, I have a 314 and a Tiger ultra x ld, and a original dominiak and a dominak d3.

The Dominiak is definitely something to consider.

Sorry, can't remember, it was a few years ago. Not sure what they had then.
 
I shoot with the Tiger Ultra X and I love it. It comes with the sniper tip. I really love the feel and consistency with it. I would definitely recommend it to others.
