314.2 or Z2 shaft?

I just ordered a Predator 5k6 and I'm just wondering what shaft you guys would recommend. I've been told that even though the Z2 shaft costs more, that the 314.2 is favored for playability. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I have both and like the Z2 shaft. Despite the conical taper vs. pro taper, it stays thinner higher up the shaft which is "long-bridge friendly." I also find that it provides more spin and throw with less velocity and less deviation from center. All that being said, the 314^2 is a great shaft as well, and know more people that prefer that over the Z2. Some people can't get over how narrow the tip looks when lining up a shot. I would suggest finding some buddies who have both and try each out for a couple of racks. Good luck!

comes down to individual taste. both are superior LD shafts. I prefer the Z as I am more usta the thinner shaft/ smaller tip.

I've used both but play with the Z2 shaft. My advice is to really check them out before buying, they are more different than you think with respect to deflection etc., once you start getting used to one you want to stick with it. Pay attention to the diameter of the shaft, if it feels and looks comfortable while shooting, especially for longer periods of time. Can't go wrong either way, they are both great shafts...

It definitely comes down to personal preference. I have both, but prefer the 314 as it's larger diameter feels more substantial.
