The Z2 will have less deflection, so you will have to get used to that. It is definitely a difference, not necessarily better though depending on how well you already compensate with the 314-2. The Z2 also is a small diameter, which suits some players better, and also has that conical taper which provides a stiffer hit. Although to me, the smaller tip can sometimes feel a little whippy. As far as weight, they will typically weigh a little less, maybe 3.8 instead of 4 oz, but I've seen shafts all over the place, really depends on the wood used and joint type. If the two shafts weigh about the same, the overall balance should be similar between them.
I actually did the reverse - used a Z2 for 2 years then switched to a 314-2 - the process took a while and I kept going back and forth as I was trying to get used to it. Eventually I just forced myself to keep shooting with the 314-2 and got used to it. Both great shafts, as are others by OB and Mezz, really just comes down to personal preference and pairing the right shaft with the right tip for your sense of feel.
Try to borrow one before buying, really spend some time with it. Another alternative, and one I did, is to find a good deal on a nice used shaft, that way you can give it an extended trial, and if you decide you don't like it you can resell it without losing hardly any money as long as you take care of it.
