just wanted to see if a 15 foot 7 in room is ok for a 4.5 x 9 gc 3any help on room size for that table size

Room dimensions

Actually, as it relates to the width of the room needed for a 41/2X9 foot table, a mininum of 15' is more practical in order to be able to stroke the cue "if" the cue ball is frozen to the long rail and the OB is directly across from it.
It's really not hard to figure it out...do the math. You must remember that you need to allow for bridging off of the rail, not the cushion, and a minimum of 2-3" for stroking the cue.

thanks i wanted to make sure it would fit in my house in ga,it will def fit in nj house for the summer spring n fall.then i'll move it to atlanta eventually

My stance has more of an impact than stroke . My rear foot is 6 - 8 inches behind the cue. Make sure that there are no unmovable obstacles (base-board heat, hearths etc.) unless you stand flat-footed against the rail. My 2 cents.

Exactly. For any table, nominal table size plus ten feet in both directions sort of works for people of normal height but will feel cramped. For a 4.5x9 table, centering it in a 15x20 room works quite a bit better.
