THIS CUE WAS ACTUALLY MADE 1972-1980..THATS WHEN
BILL SCHROUD USED THE SIDEWAYS W..I BELIVE IT TO BE ROSE WOOD..

Butt has no dings or scratches..cap has a small chip where it meets

the wood..cant see it from a foot away or even that apparent close

up..but it is there..since this is so nice..maybe a refinish sometime in

its life?..not sure..has slight roll out at joint together when joined..tip

stays flat on the table..about as much as the rest of my nice cues..

stainless joint with 5/16x14 piloted pin..shaft and butt line up very

nicely..4pts with black speckeled linen wrap that is suberb with no wear..

each point shows a variation in grain and tone..very nice..comes with

a 1/4 oz aluminum weight bolt that is not included in the Butt weight..

Shaft is 13mm and looks as though it has never been used..nice color

and has a 1" ferruel..not sure of the tip maker but it is layered..

Butt--15 3/8 oz...28 1/2 inches long...without weight bolt
Shaft--3 7/8 oz...28 1/2 inches long...13mm
Total length of the cue is 57 inches which includes the bumper..

Testing the cue it hit very nice and solid and would make for a great
player..no noise of any kind and i have to say it hits as well as any
cue i have shot with..and thats a bunch..you wont be dissapointed!!!

Asking SOLD PENDING PYMT..shipped to the lower 48 with insurance..

Paypal...motorvation1@yahoo.com..gift the money and no extra fees..
you can check me out if you want..feel free to contact anyone i have
delt with here on AZ..if you are not satisfied ship it back and i will gladly
refund your purchase price minus the shipping charge..thanks

Im probably the biggest JW fan on AZ. My friend, you really need to post pictures if you are really looking to make a sale.

Best of rolls,

ken

What doyou mean when you say slight roll and it stay flat on the table? Does the butt roll at the joint when seperate? Tks.

no it doesn't..in other words..what you line up to shoot..its there!!!..non effect on your game..the tip of the cue stays on the table..thats
center roll out..probably in 90% of all cues..SA

You mean its only the shaft that has slight warp. Does the cue butt roll straight with other straight shaft?

its the shaft..it raises 3 playing cards in the center..so does my tiger
shaft and OB classic on my playing cues..like i said..not a concern..
but i want to be as detailed as possible..SA

Guys!

Strokerace is a no nonsense straight shooter. He's got quite the collection of cues and knows his stuff. He's giving you all the most accurate description he can because so many of use want to know whether or not a cue has been stored in a particular tempurature or whether or not it's ever been exposed to higher than normal barometric pressure levels. Strokerace and I have done business before and is as good a guy you're going to find. Keep in mind most people use credit cards to measure straightness... Playing cards... That's really doing diligence. This cue is an antique, and I'm sure is exactly as described! Good luck with the sale!
P.s. What kind of playing cards? Would you say old maid or go fish thickness? I may be interested if it's the lesser of the two ;)
