The 2006 BCA Pool Leagues 11th Annual Canadian Championships are now in the record book. They were held on 80 tables from July 36 - 30, 2006 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. With $40,000 added to the prize fund, there was plenty of cash to go around.
The 8-Ball Team and Singles events were double knockout, with four levels of play based on abilty. New this year was the addition of a single elimination 9-Ball event.
For the first time at the Championships, American teams and singles were invited to participate and managed to take home some of the cash.
