404 Finals #2, who is going to win?

jd im not complaining about my handicap at all, was pointing out an issue raised by other players at last 404 final, im not interested in the handicaps leave the people running it to do that as they seem to give you abuse when u say anything, if im a 7 then let them leave me off that i will just win and make them put me up rather be playing off a 9,10 or 11 to make me learn pool more and play to my ability, and have to learn to win off that mark.

dan you should be winning off 4, just go practice and you shouldnt lose off 4

Agreed Brett, Snooker and 9-Ball are very different so you are probably correct where you have been placed and will earn your handicap being raised some day soon just like Dan.

I wasn't trying to prove anyone wrong with my post just making comments about handicapping and the 404 in general.

Good luck to all this weekend!

Sorry, I probably just misinterpreted your post. I do that sometimes when I'm on the pints.

Good luck in the finals.

You deff gotta hellaova snooker stroke. I'm curious as to how it will transpire to the game of 9ball/10ball over time as you learn the game.

What are your thoughts? Do you think you will need to make modifications for power shots/jacked up shots ect. ?

You seem to know alot about stroke techniques so I thought I'd ask.

sorry for going off topic.

no problem jd,

the 1 thing i find more different is the cue, when i get my cue i will be raising my game to the level of my snooker game, i have more cue power than anyone, (dont want to sound funny by saying that), screwed a cue ball over 30ft other day on a snooker table, i have an up to down cue ,
action where i drop my elbow so i am already jacked up on my shots,

i only need practice for a while and then i will get to a high level, slight difference in the spin shots and the cue thats all, the throw of the ball as well.

1: Chris Corteoux (not the right spelling of last name lol)
2: Tol Kuy
3: Brttany Bryant

Were the top 3.

That is how they finished. It was Brittany and Tol in the A side final, Tol won. Then Brittany lost to Chris.

The people that came back on Sunday, if I can remember were... Myself (Dean),Tol Kuy, Chris Corteoux, Brittany Bryant, Shaun Lee, Arbi (dunno last name), Tyler Nearing, Al Kinghorn,Scott Noonan,Mario Morra, Lee Brett, and Rob Henry.
