The Windy City Open will be the first weekend of January this year. Unfortunately it conflicts some with Derby City Classic. We are going to begin the event on Wednesday 1/4/06 with a Bank tournament and Midnight Madness event. Both events will be open to all players with no restrictions. This will be a great warm up for Derby City for those who are attending.

The other events will be beginning on Thursday as the schedule permits. The host location is Pheasant Run and the room rates are $55.00 per night so it is affordable for you to stay and play.

In addition to The Windy City Open events, there will be the BCA State tournament and a BIG APA event. I don't have all the info for the APA event, but I will post it as soon as I get it.

There will be monies added to ALL Windy City Open events, I don't have the complete sum and will also post that in the next few weeks as I hear more from our vendors.

I might go since heavy hitters might be somewhere else... I went to the open qualifier you had in Orland Park and I lost to your guy Bob (but I took 4 games... maybe he remembers the stick in the avatar) and Tommy K.

Ever since I posted this we have had the same reply from players. They are looking forward to playing since the big guns will be at Derby.

Bob remembers you and so do I. When are you coming back to Pro Tyme for a rematch? Bob is there several nights a week.

Torn!!

I'm torn of which event to attend. The windy city has the apa singles correct? If they do my wife could play in that with me playing in the other. When that info. becomes avalible can you let me know. If that's the case my wife might enjoy herself alittle more. (instead of just watching me play) :D

I am there quite a bit... at odd times tho... PM me if you are planning to spend some time there in the near future and maybe I will come by.
