I will be looking for action to broadcast on Friday night and tournament play will begin right after the players auction, which starts at noon Saturday.

This will be played on 20 Oversized 8ft's (8 Diamonds,12 Brunswicks)

This is the 21st Houston Open - This event was founded by Denis Strickland In 1996 It was started at Legends Billiards in League City, TX a suburb of Houston.

The tradition continues with Defending Champion Gabe Owen in attendance!! Additional top contenders attending will be "David G"Gutierrez, Robb Saez, Joey Gray, Chip Compton, Jeremy Jones, Jamie Barracks, Daniel "Lil D" McKenney, Kenny Loftis, David Parker, Charlie Bryant and many more!!!
 
In the house now is David Gutierrez, James "Bastrop" Davis Sr. , David "Lil David" Henson, WPBA Pro Melissa Little. Additional top names signed up are Cliff Joyner, Ritchie Richeson, Jamie Barracks, Gabe Owen, Jeremy Jones, Robb Saez, Kevin Guimond, Brian Sanders and many many more!!

No mini tournament or ring game planned for tonight but you never know what might stir up!!

Jr. Harris quit playing about 10 years ago! He and Melanie Koger got married and both quit playing and are living around Grandberry, TX. Their running a rustic furniture store that Melanie started when she move to Texas from Alamogordo, NM.
