anyone know a brand of cues with that thread for really cheap, 50 dollars or so. I have a really good break shaft i got on a great price but im stuck using it on a expensive cue. and not that i mind, but i dont wanna mess it up.

Try a Joss, Schon, or early Predator cue.
tx..............................but im looking to spend 50 bucks. chinese brand on ebay is fine, ive looked but they are all 18s
i saw those, they said 18s. who knows,
Maybe have a shaft extension made to fit between the shaft and a current cue you own. From your price point it may be your only option.

go to J&J America website and check out kaisers and others with the thread. Or take one you have and get the pin swapped out....should be pretty easy actually.
