5/16x14 piloted or unpiloted?

Looking for a predator for my schon. Is there any noticeable difference between a piloted and unpiloted 314 on the schon?

An shaft without a pilot won't fit a schon quite right, may as well get the right fitting shaft for the cue. They made it with a pilot for a reason, to seat the shaft. That's why the Joss and Schon shafts are not quite the same although they look almost the same.

When putting a non-pilot shaft on a piloted butt,your leaving a pretty big air gap
in the joint area.You'll always have a bit of air unless its a compression fit but
the less air the better,specially in the joint.
