5/16X14 shaft thread

There are many cues that utilize 5/16X14 threads in their joint connections. Two of which, that I know of use a different pitch however. both the Schon and the joss thread is slightly a different size. Normal 5/16X14 inserts only go about half way onto the pin and then get very tight. Does anyone know what size these inserts are that fit these cues, and where they can be attained in reasonable numbers?

It's not a different pitch,the Schon version is slightly undersized (normally .010) at the top AND bottom of the thread form.

The Joss version is usually much closer to a true 5/16 (.3125). Tommy D.

I agree with Tom. .302x14 and the other undersized one's are .298x14 for the old Mali's, schuler, Paradise...etc.
