Offered here is a 5 point Tim Scruggs cue. Here are the specs etc:
5 Point Purpleheart into nicely figured BEM
Each point has a fancy invory inlay
Brown Phenolic Butt Cap
Gold coloured TS logo on this
5 Ivory rectangles in the Butt end, these alternate between having 1 and 2 smaller rectangles inside.
Fancy rings at ABCDE - The rings are alternating ivory and wood sections with white rings surrounding them, possibly also ivory.
Linen wrap.
Piloted steel 5/16 x 14 joint
Butt is in 95% condition, with no issues visible to the naked eye, you can feel a couple of tiny dings if you feel for them carefully.
Comes with 2 original TS shafts with matching ring work.
Both have a minor taper roll, neither enough to affect playability.
Both are blued, but I have not made any attempts to clean them up yet
Both the ivory ferrules have minor scratches or cracks, again, they did not interfere with playability.
Both measure approx 12.9mm
So, we have a cue that has been well used, and the shafts could use a bit of work. I have not seen many Scruggs cues on the market with 5 points, this much ivory and this style. I am currently considering sending the cue to get it refinished and cleaned up, but thought I would give you a chance to purchase before this happens.
I am looking for $2300 shipped. Minor trades would be considered, but Cash is King!
