There ar 150 tour players this year. However, it appears that more than 50 players will lose their tour card.

Do only 50 of these players receive guaranteed spots in the IPT 2007 Tour Qualifier??

Please advise!

Billiardspro,

I think you misunderstood the question, or I have not made myself to clear with the question.

I am referring specifically to the current IPT Tour members only. Based upon a rough estimate, more than 50 tour players will lose their tour card, however, according to The IPT web site, ONLY the bottom ranked 50 players will eligible to play in December. If there are X amount of players, that exceed 50, what happens to the remaining players? If these players wait until until after the Chicago tournament, there will be no qualifiers left for them to play in.

I am referring to the qualifier slated for The Wynn Resort in Las Vegas on December 12th, 2006.

How are they going to qualify when they don't know if they will lose their tour card yet? The members who lose their tour card will get a chance to buy into the qualifier.
