The only way to play in the Main Event is to qualify - Top 3 finishers in each divisional qualifier will advance to the Main Event - 1 Qualifier each week for each division starting June 25th - Dates for all qualifiers are located on the bottom left corner of the flyer

You only play with the players in your class to qualify - Example, on Saturday June 25th the "C" class qualifier starts at noon and all "C" players race to 6 (Only "C" players) - "B" class starts at 2 PM racing to 8 - "A" class starts at 4 PM racing to 9 - Top 3 finishers in each class are qualified for the main event

We are in a different location from where we were years ago - New address is 53 Ashburton Street, Providence 02904

The only players not eligible to play are the players that have won non-handicapped regional events in the last 5 years

Handicaps?

Ray, how exactly is the handicap system work in this tourney? Is it same as Nicole & Gloria's tourneys?

Thanks, SK

In the qualifiers you only play players in your class - In the main event (Aug 27th & 28th) you play to your handicap against all classes - In the qualifiers and the main event A's race to 9 - B's race to 8 - C's race to 6

Qualifiers are single elimination, the main event is double - The top 3 players in each qualifier make it to the final event - Entry fee in the qualifiers will be $20.00, final event is free - The only way to play in the main event is to qualify

The main event will consist of 21 C's, 21 B's and 21 A's for a total of 63 players - The 64th player will be a random draw from the players that tried to qualify but didn't

Qualifiers start this Saturday June 25th - C's at Noon - B's at 2pm - A's at 4pm

B Division

A Division

Last year's winner Stevie Roy will be entered as the 64th player previously stated as being a random draw spot

I think the reality of the tournement is the handicap which is to most a bit unfair! As for me, I'm fine with it! The reality is that most players are satisfied with there present level even though they want to get better, few are willing to put the REAL PRACTICE TIME to get to a higher level and maybe a lesson or 2! I think people are forgetting who won it last year, a B player If I remember correctly! I've played him and he's a great player as is everyone! The reality is that everyone has a chance! And yes I know what many are going to say, I don't have the time which is understandable, but remember this, "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect"! Need to spend your time wisely on the table, not hitting balls around and saying I'm practicing! I would like to thank Joe tucker, ray mac, and ginky(rip) for helping me with my game! I'm just trying to improve!!!
