As of the time of this post (Monday, Feb 18th, 2:45pm -EST), you can still use a credit card to sign up for the Arizona Desert Dustoff which is being held this coming weekend at Alexander's in Phoenix. To use your credit card to sign up, go to this sites MARKETPLACE and then click on Desert Dustoff. ........ IMPORTANT ~~~ To avoid signing up more than the field limit of (96), I have asked to have the Dustoff removed from the MARKETPLACE at 8pm EST today. Therefore, if you plan on playing and using your credit card to pay your entry, you must do so today before 8pm EST. After that, you can still enter the tournament by calling me at 602.750.0044

No more credit card entries

As noted earlier today, the option to enter the dustoff using a credit card is no longer available. To enter the dustoff, call ron merseal at 602.750.0044

I can only say officially that as of last night the Goose will now be in the field...;)

I believe there are only 13 spots left.....It seems based on the way pool players work...I expect those could fill rather quickly at any given time today.

I am not sure of specific names but I expect that the 80+ that have already signed up will all be run out players...

I did hear that Ernesto and Oscar Dominguez will be there and Billy Palmer (defending champ) was supposed to be there but I think he is recovering. I also know of 7 or 8 excellent local players that will be playing for sure.

I have heard rumors of Parks being there...If you don't know who he is......you probably will soon.....that guy is capable of playing pretty sporty.

I have also heard rumors of a guy that snapped of a big ring game at DCC being there...His name escapes me though...

I would say at least 7-8 excellent locals....and another 25-30 that are easily capable of jumping up and beating them on a given day.

In this town...you really never know who might just "pop in" unannounced for this tournament......especially this time of year when the weather is perfect.
