After months of use I thought it was time to share some pictures and give thanks to those who helped me pull this together... Spurred on by a listing in the for sale section that allowed me to acquire a Tascarella that spoke to me, I decided to put together my forever kit for my 50th.
I contacted Al Kinghorn to commence a new case build. Next I reached out to Scot @ Custom Billiard Cue to work out cue cap designs. Giving more thought to my kit (and being this far down the rabbit hole) I remembered an old Hoppe Titlist a client gave me years back. It was too small for a full conversion so I put it away and didn't give it any thought, but now... why not make a jump cue out of it? I reached out to Pete to see if this was something he was willing to do. The pictures don't do justice to the workmanship from these craftsman. A sincere thank you to all who helped with my mission. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result and they (Al, Scot, & The Pete's) were all "Great" to work with. Oh, and I'll never part with the first cue I ever bought when I started playing in the mid 90's (Joss Sneaky & caps by Jim Baxter). The cue just feels too good in my hands.
