The BWPPA tour returned in 2023 for Event 1, to Savanna Pool & Snooker, Whitefield, Manchester, from the 29-30 April 2023. They were competing for the first prize of £250, and the title of 2023 We Are Making a Difference Players Champion. Dave Beaumont came into the event as the undisputed no1, having won the last 2 events, but he knew that the no2 and no3 ranked players, Fred Dinsmore and Roy Kimberley would be up for the fight.
