I shot "Honest Effort" 6 ball all night last night and I hate it... Which got me thinking does anybody know any dead break shots.. Or great break shots?

First time I ever gambled at 6-ball was with a guy that plays slightly better than me and he thought he had me in a trap by giving me all the breaks and the 5. We decided we'd play $20 a game and went at it. I quickly found it wasn't very easy to make a ball playing 6-ball. I kept moving the cue ball around until I found a sweet spot. For me it was about a diamond to the left of the headspot. When I broke, the 5-ball that was directly behind the 1 ball would usually move towards the back corner pocket and one of the wing balls would go 3 rails and back towards the same corner pocket as the 5. A few times I made the 5 straight in and a few other times the 5 ball was kicked in by the wing ball. I was consistently pocketing a ball and parking my cue ball in the middle of the table. The guy had enough when I had him 15 games stuck.
