Hi member, just curious to know if there's anyone who knows if the yellowish aramith measle cue ball is heavier than the whitish measle one? Does this difference really exist?

The difference is that the yellow one is probably a fake... unless you've got a set of Aramith three-cushion balls.

is that how you tell the fakes from the reals ones??
the fakes are yellowish??

The fakes I've seen around here have slightly larger dots and turn yellow after few months of use.
Doesn't surprise me though, I'm pretty sure there are different fakes floating around all over the place.

Real measles will be off-white/yellowish out of the packaging because they are coming out of the oven. They will whiten up as they get cleaned repetitively over time.

Not True... At Least If It's the OLDER version.

I have one of the ORIGINAL Measles Balls 1st Run and it is yellowish in color.
Im sure the newer ones are made of a different type of material or compound
so they look Really White in color especially when side by side with the Old ones.
I would say the Color Difference is like comparing a Old Micarta Ferrule to a
Solid White Ivory Ferrule.

Hope This Helps

Thanks......Paul
