I ordered this cue directly from Pete Sr. in 2016. It was my main player for probably 3-4 years, and what a player it was. It’s in good shape and is a great looking cue but does have some wear. If I had to guess, since a basic cue from Pete is now $3500 and both the hoppe ring and full splice are upgrades that this cue would probably cost over 4k to make today. I love this cue and it’s going to make somebody a great player - excellent hit and feel, and a great sound with the bumperless style.
Specs: bumperless hoppe style full splice, East Indian rosewood into birdseye. Butt is 30” long with the standard Tascarella stainless 5/16x14 compression fit joint. Really nice flame veneers - natural, yellow, orange and black. Standard signature between the points. Cue weight is 19.4-19.5oz. One shaft is at 12.8mm, which I played with and has a Searing Precision tip, and the other is 13+mm and barely touched and has the stock LePro with fiber backing. Both 30” long, making 60” with butt and shaft together. Thick nickel ring on black phenolic with a matching black phenolic buttcap. Ferrules and hoppe ring material are what came stock in 2016.
