I've finished an interesting cue recently. First of all due to the woods used. I don't know if the wood I used for a forearm and butt sleeve was ever used in a cue at least I haven't seen any yet. So the wood is Pau Santo also called Brazillian blackheart. It's pretty rare and really hard to find especially that old and quality. It's one of the hardest and stiffest woods and with some nice figure in those pieces. I've used Satinwood for the handle and I tried to highlight the beauty of what mother nature created by using some “brugge style” rings at all positions. I've definitely had some fun so as it was my first experience with them.
The cue is build on a full length core out of fairly stiff straight grained Pau Rosa.
The joint ring is natural black horn. The pin is G10 modified 3/8-10.
The cue is also built so the butt extension with 3/8-10 pin can be used.
There is no metal in this cue. The weight is natural.
Due to the constructions, selected very old and stable woods used and so on I'm pretty sure about stability of the cue.
The shaft wood will be appreciated by those who likes some old and stiff hard maple. The shaft was built so to have lower deflection (by using 6" cf tube glued inside with very short tomahawk outside ferrule and phenolic inside ferrule). The shaft hits very solid without that hollow feeling while the deflection is pretty low. I've installed a black ultraskin medium tip on it.
The specifications of the cue:
It is 60 inch (even split) cue with 19,5" balance point.
The butt weighs 16 oz.
The shaft weighs 3,95 oz with close to 12,5 mm tip.
The cue also comes with the same woods combo 7,7” extension and nice Pau Santo join protectors.
I can tell I've really had some fun while building this cue and I'm really happy how it hits, feels and plays.
Ok, finally let the pictures talk about the rest).

The cue is sold.

Congrats on building such a beautiful cue. I usually don’t like cues without points, but this one is different. It is such a great looking cue. Good luck! It should sell fast!
