Anyone know the maker of this 60's or early 70's cue?

There was a line of cues made by Adam or KPC (Taiwan) in the late 1980's that had many similar traits to this cue. They were marketed under various names including Mali.

I am pretty sure it's an import, the shaft doesn't match, and I don't think the rubber bumper is the one that came with the cue.

Thanks & oopsi, yes I forgot to mention that the original shaft was broken & replaced.
The story is, that this cue was won in the late 60's/early 70's at the famous McGurrs Billiards in New York but the person who inherited it can't remember who made it. I was toying with the thought of puting a bid in on it if I could find out more about it.
Again Many Thanks ;)
