I originally posted this on the For Sale forum page and someone suggested this may be a better place to find some help. It was suggested that this is a Celebrity model and the design does match that exactly. However, it says it is a Centennial GZ model on the plate and a sticker underneath the table and all the Celebrity models I have found on the web are a solid white, mine has wood laminate and wood base/legs. Any help figuring out what exactlky this is and the approximate value would be greatly appreciated!

1963 Brunswick Something??? - Yesterday, 01:35 PM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not much of a pool guy but found this forum and thought it might be a good place to figure out what I have and what it might be worth. Have spent several hours on the internet and havent figured it out yet so I am hoping someone in this group will be able to help me out! Please excuse the qualit of the attached photos. The wife sent them to me today and she isnt exactly a photographer. The best I can figure out is this is a 1963 Brunswick but what model I dont know. As you can see, the plate reads Centennial by Brunswick but from what I have been able to find today, the legs/base dont match? It looks more like a "Monarch" Home Billiard Table Model GZ? Any help identifying this and the value would be greatly appreciated! I can post better pics later.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure of the exact model but it's a non-slate table. The white you see around the perimeter of the table is the ball return. There are perhaps 50 short screws that hold it from underneath on both the inside and outside of the return. The bed is one of Bruswick's honeycomb tables and not worth much in my opinion. I worked on a bunch of those back in the 80's-90's in N.E. Ohio so they did sell a few in that area.

Spill something on that bed and look out :yikes:

How dare they put the centennial name on this pos.? The Centennial is my favorite table bar none, the real one anyways.......

Look at the table....it says Centennial on it, thats why. It's also why I am confused because fronm everything I have researched this appears to be a Celebrity.

Thanks for your help. Still confused as to why it says Centennial on it. None the less it sounds like it isn't worth a whole lot.

Perhaps it's a Celebrity that was factory equipped with Centennial rail cushions, hence the designation above the return.

Makes sense and is kind of what I was wondering as well. An "upgraded" Celebrity I guess. Just cant find any kind of record of it though. Thanks for the suggestion.
