I am surprised that we dont already have caught the newest Trend of this 6/7 as a game!!
Rack of 8 balls that has 15 balls total
Mostly is 9 ball rules [rack by oder of 14/15 on lower corner, with 6/7/8 at the center]
Break and then choose your group of balls by pocketing it.
The 13, 14, 15 are free balls that you can hit whenever and pocket whenever.
Balls have 2 groups, a 6 and a 7. (1-2-3-4-5-6) or (7-8-9-10-11-12)
If the breaker made any ball on the break, he keeps shooting. But he has to choose from the lowest number of each set of balls to attempts
1/ if he choose group of 6. He starts out with 1 and hitting until 6 to win. It is essentially a 9 balls format. If he didn't make any, then table remains open until a group of balls are assigned
If it is group of 7, he starts at 8
2/ if he made any balls legitimately using 9 balls rules including pocketing the opponents balls, he keeps shooting
3/ if he made 6 legitimately like the 9, he wins. However, if he pocketed 7 instead, he will lose
