This is a RARE tulipwood mcdermott. Apparently, Jim Mcdermott himself made the forearm blank back 20 or so years ago. A limited number of these blanks were found in the mcdermott factory just recently, and, so, Mcdermott finished these cues off and included their lifetime warranty(guarantee that cue will be free from warpage/defects). The cue has three high and three low tulipwood points with two veneers(blue/black). There is a single silver ring at locations A and B and some more complicated rings at locations D and E that frame the tulipwood butt. The wrap is black lizard embossed leather that is virtually seamless. This cue has been test hit with only so I would consider it as close to brand new as you get. And...yes, some of you may have seen these sold on ebay by www.cornerstonecustomcues.com; I believe that they were the only source for these cues. I am asking for $350OBO shipped usps priority. I am a verified paypal member and can accept credit cards. Thanks

I forgot to add that the weight is around 19oz and is easily adjustable with the different weight bolts. The joint pin is a 3/8-10 and the shaft diameter is 12.75mm with a pro taper.

This cue is a real beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what kind of joint pin does it have?

it is a very nice cue.. if it was made by a custom maker it would easly be atleast 800+ ....

ironic. i have the same exact cue and the exact jp's cause i ordered them from cam myself to be specifcally designed that way. he had to make me an extra set cause the width was incorrect. did you buy these jp's already made from cam on this site? and the cue is beautiful, will grassley at corenerstnone has about 25+ of these with various stains and ponits. i bought this exact one and got an i2 shaft for it and the weight is beautiful. and your right if this cue didnt have a mcdermott logo on it and had a cue makers name it would be a lot more money. mcdermott value them at 999. that is the price you are allowed to register the cue for on their site to obtain the warranty information. great beautiful cue.

its just funny you have the jp's i specificaly ordered for this cue.

yep, I got the jps from Cam a few weeks ago; he posted them up here. He sold these jps a little cheaper because he remade them for you(the green hornet). The pin is the classic Mcdermott 3/8-10. I figure this cue is a steal at the price i'm asking considering all factors that determine a cue's value. I can tell you that this cue hits as good as any custom. This cue is as close to custom as it gets; I know for a fact that, whoever gets this cue, you will never see anyone with this cue and you won't see it behind the counter at the local pool hall. McDermott makes great cues with great value.
