I might possibly be able to get a steal of a deal on a 7' diamond pro-am but it was purchased in 2007 and is a red label with L cut pockets. My question is, If I buy a blue lable top from diamond will it fit properly or is it to old of a model pro-am. Glenn or anyone else qualified elaborate on this?

Yes, the new rails will fit right on. Where are you located? I don't remember if we had the leveling system in the 7 ft back then though, I don't think we did, so that makes the table of less value as well, but everything can be brought up to new.

I live 20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, PA the table is about 300 miles away and I could probably get the table to my house for arround $1500 total cost but Diamond quoted me $1650 for a new top installed. So I don't think it would be worth it for me to get it, if it does not have the slate leveling system. I will just wait for Super Billiards Expo and pick up a tournament used one for arround $3500. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Kirk

Does that include the cost of buying the table?

yes that is with me going and getting the table and paying for the table and gas and transport cost, but after I pay diamond 1650 for a new top I will have $3150 invested in the table that may not have the slate leveling system.

Well, if you already have the table, that's one thing, but it's another thing to lay out the cash to buy the table, then lay out an additional amount of cash to bring it up to date. Even for me to update the table at your house with labor and materials is going to run over $1,000
