Has anyone seen this? I just started reading about it the other day. As of right now, I believe it's just a concept and hasn't officially been launched. I could be wrong though.

From what I can understand.

- They've come up with a variety of patterns that are set up using an overhead projection system.

- Before a player attempts the run out, the viewer(s) are allowed to bet on whether or not they think the player will be successful.

- The betting odds for each pattern are established based on the data collected from previous attempts. For example, if 100 players attempt a pattern, and 90 players are successful. The odds for betting on an unsuccessful attempt of that particular pattern might be something like 7.5 to 1.

It's an interesting idea, but it's tough to say if it'll catch on over here. I did see somewhere that they plan on doing a tour in the US to promote the game.

Most of the people I've played with lately do good to remember to move the coin and how much were playing for. I would hate to see how they handled the game/rules you speak of.

I used to play a lot of bridge, and found that who ever gets the most points from the same cards

refreshing. You are playing for the best, sometimes it is better to take a loss and go down to win.

To do the same for pool would be unique, and would love to see pro players play the same layout for the cash.

A point based system to establish a winner, why not? Who else would enjoy that?

Is a player's brother-in-law allowed to bet on whether he runs out or not?

If there is no large incentive for a player to run out, he may not try his best. At sports that people bet on, I think the main reason a lot of players don't dump is that what they win by winning the game/match is larger than what they might get away with stealing from bookies.

I imagine this is happening live, and the betting windows are short.

So as the balls are being set up for the run. You would be watching on your computer, see what the upcoming layout will look like, and then be given x amount of time to place your wager.

"Here's the plan for the weekend, Willie. Fail any time the 3, 4 and 9 are closer to the foot rail than the 8. Do your best to run out the others."

…ha, setting up patterns to get out on,
I’ve seen, heard of and play the concept all the time.

 world domination, late comer's,
they do have the advantage though,
where as gambling is Europe’s’ state motto.

Folks in these parts view the idea, the concept as drills;
everybody loves drills, so…
The DCC, Mosconi and such will be distant memories’ shortly...

So does this mean there will be normal legalized betting on pool now? Seems this is no different than putting money down on any game/match.

They're using Faraday cages* for the love of gawd! Like the recent chess cheating accusations that one player had a remote-controlled vibrator up his butt that an accomplice would use to send move suggestions by Morse code. :poop::eek::ROFLMAO:💰💰💰

If anyone uses my strategy, please remember to send me my 10%. Thanks.

* A Faraday cage is just a metal mesh (or foil) screen around a room or volume that prevents any radio signal from getting in or out. The metal mesh on the window of your microwave oven keeps the microwaves inside.

Hold on,,,,,,,,,,I need to get my tin foil hat out.😃💪🤩

The faraday cage part is interesting.
I would assume the player is also visually and audibly isolated as well.
To prevent non electrical signalling for making or dumping a set.

I wonder if the players FargoRate becomes part of the process.
Odds change in real pool, for number of times a 600, 700, 800 player can clear a table.

Well spotted. That is Vinnie Calabrese.

At the moment Vinnie is in Europe so he won't be playing, but of course if he wanted to we would welcome him. He is ultra talented and that shot from 3 to 4 is off the chart!

We have a network of players we have spoken with and will be confirming before we go live in 2023.

For them its a awesome way to generate extra revenue and Ill quote what one great Mosconi Cup player said. Its like getting paid to practice.

Also we will rotate players on performance and availability
