80's 14.1 VIDEOS WANTED

Nick Varner came in the local pool hall the other day so I looked up his record later.

Any chance anyone has his 1985 or 1986 14.1 championships that ESPN supposedly taped?

I know the chances are slim, but I only own accu-stats matches except the Crane-Balsis at 14.1 and would love to see any old ESPN, ABC, coverage.

I think Cosell might of even done commentary for at least one of the championships in the 80's.

If you're used to Accu-stats then the ESPN footage will be too disappointing to view. I have some old VHS recorded straight pool from ESPN and 85-86 seems likely. I know I have matches with Varner vs. Rempe and Sigel vs. Hopkins but trust me when i say it's not worth pursuing. They'll show a run rack, go to commercial with the run at 14 and come back and the run is 112 or somewhere in that ball park. Stick w/the Accu-stats.
