last night this guy and i were playing bar8ball he went for a shot , and chucked the 6ball off the table. The cue ball stayed on,Is this trated like a scratch with cue ball placed in the kitchen? Or is it no move cue ball place 6 on the spot?

According to BCA rules, this would be treated as a scratch and you have ball-in-hand anywhere on the tables, except that if this was done on the break, you have ball-in-hand in the kitchen.

And the 6-ball stays down.

Bar 8-ball rules vary from room to room. If you are not playing ball in hand rules, the 6 ball spots, and cue ball stays where it is. If you are playing league rules, it's ball in hand and the 6 goes down. Sam

Ok the cue ball does not move. So I lost fair and square. I had won the previous 5 games so... i guess it was my time to lose. thanks.
