Hi Gang. Ok I bought this cue cause it was the 10th.
this maker made. Its signed on the face of the joint
on the butt "DK 10" I guessed it was the 10th. cue
they made. The guy I got it from told me he was
in Texas. I don't know the name of the maker maybe
one of you in Texas will. Here are the specs.
Butt 29 3/4"
Shafts 29 3/8"
one 13mm looks like linen ferrule
one 12.5 not linen don't know what it is
Weight 17.7 & 17.8 depending on shaft used
both shafts are ready for new tips
Balance point using 13mm shaft is approx. 19" from end
of butt. Not bumper.
Joint is 3/10 into wood, pioleted
It does have an alum. weight bolt under bumper
The cue plays pretty good, solid. The finish is horrible, (mostly worn off)about what you'd expect for a 10th. cue.
Price, $200 shipped CONUS insurance will be a couple of bucks more.
No major dings of scrapes on cue with either shaft.

Was there a DK in Texas?

Bumpin it up. But I really thought somebody out there might have an idea who made this cue. It does hit pretty good but tips are shot. Maybe DK isn't in Texas. Please post is you have any idea.

It was probably made in '10......and that's probably a satin or oil finish I'm guessing...yikes

Gotta be someone out there who knows who this is?

I'am in TX and try to keep up with all the cue builders. Never seen anything with D.K on it. Nice looking cue. good luck with your sale. I will ask around and pass on any info I can find.

2010? Are you selling what your smoking?

Hi Gang. I'll weight the butt and shafts separtly and post the weights.

The finish on the cue isn't an oil rub type. Its an actual spray on type finish, just not a good one. If you had a dectent finish put on it and put some good tips on it you'd have a lot of fun when you took it out to play. Besides anybody would play you when they saw you take that out and put it together. Might even make a buck of two with it. Besides its only $200 with two usable shafts.

Sweet

Sweet looking cue. I would take you up on it if I had any money at all. Good luck on the sale though.

...Definitely not 2010...

Woah, be careful if you doubt the 2010 date or you may get negative rep and be called a D-bag by PunchOut the way I was. Gotta love the rep system that allows people to be completely behind the scenes instead of just putting up a reply post out in the open.

I'm sorry if I came across too sarcastic in my reply or upset you somehow, it wasn't my intent, I was just commenting on the fact that I doubt the finish would be worn off and the tips would look so used in 3 months. I probably shouldn't of quoted you, as you seem to have taken it as a direct attack, for which I apologize.

didn't want to hijack his thread with childish BS, just wanted to let you know how I felt about your rude post.

I made the cue. Duce Khoa in 1985 in dedication of 10 years after the war in Nam. (1975) Hence '10.

The cue replacement cost is about $50, so I'll give you $55 for it.

Thank you. ;) LoL, Good luck with the sale, nice old cue!

How it rolls?

Sorry I don't have a pool hall, the downturn or whatever you want to call it took it away.
When I sight down it it looks good but one shaft may have a taper roll or just a roll to it. I'll refund everything except the shipping so its pretty cheap to try.

I actually paid $175 for the cue and I'm throwing in the shipping. So for me its just a break even deal. But really where can you get a cue with two useable shafts for $200 delivered?

David Kornarsky sounds right

That sounds like the name they gave me when I bought it. Anybody know who that is?

Hey I believe in magic.

Just another bump, finding out alot about this cue, thanks
