All,

Due to several things coming up soon (work, pending move, new baby, etc.), I'm forced to sell my pride and joy. It's not the nicest table to ever hit AZB...but it is a great table.

9' Brunswick Century pool table.
Drop pocket design with metal casters at corners.
Wood laminate rails and skirts
One side skirt is cracked, but that's pure aesthetics only
3-piece 1" slate
Great cushions, play great
4-month old Simonis 860 cloth
Game counters at one end, Brunswick plate at the other
3-month old table light (3 bulb/shade design)
Aramith Pro balls and Measles cue ball.
2nd set of balls (backup set, if need be)
House cue, bridge cue (can't find the friggin' bridge head, though)
A couple brushes, a rule book, and a 2-piece, 8 cue rack.
8-ball rack, too (I never got around to the 9-ball diamond)

The table plays great....and I was hoping it would follow me around for awhile...but the new baby and a pending move take first chair. I won't even be around to play for a few months, so it's just better this way.

Table comes with everything pictured. It's located just south of the 495 beltway near Washington D.C. I'll be happy to help the buyer dismantle and load up the table, provided I'm here to do so (another week, give or take a day). If not, then the dismantling is on the buyer. My pregnant wife is not really up for the task!!!

Here's the best part, ya'll. $650 takes EVERYTHING I HAVE (paypal fees included). This is just about as good as it gets, for the money. A 9' Brunswick setup, with all the trimmings, for less than half of what I have in it.

First solid buyer with the dough ready to go gets the deal of the Holiday season!!!!!

My best to you all, sirs and ma'ams.

Mark

The table is in real good shape. Some dings and scratches on the laminate, here and there....but nothing that prevents this from being a great home table for anybody looking to spend 1/3 of the cost for a similar setup elsewhere!!! :) :) :)

You, sir, might be one of the VERY few that would lose out!! :) ;)

Just a guess......$4k??

I'm hoping some stateside folks see that this, I really do believe, is the best deal to come across the boards this season. Ho Ho Ho...or somethin' like that!!

FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I ALSO HAVE A PLASTIC TABLE COVER FOR IT, TOO. IT WAS FOLDED UP AND UNDER THE TABLE, AND I FORGOT TO TAKE A PIC OF IT. IT'S GREEN, IT'S FUNCTIONAL, AND IT'S GOT NO HOLES IN IT!!

Thanks much,

Mark

Hiya, sir.

The table is 3-piece, 1" slate. All three pieces are in great shape, are flat, roll great, and so forth.

As far as damage goes, the side skirt was broken about 1/3 of the length down the side, from top to bottom. I tried to take a pic of it on the thread. The two pieces are attached on the back, by staples. My intention was to fill it with wood filler, and then finish over the top. It's aesthetic damage only...and has NO bearing on how the table plays. No, it ain't the prettiest thing to see...but it's got no bearing on the playing surfaces at all. Aside from that, there are some dings and scratches on the laminate surfaces....but again, nothing that takes away from the slate, cloth, rails, or cushions.

I've never seen a table get a percentage rating before...but I'll put it at a strong 80-85% condition. It came from an old poolroom that closed down, and it would appear that they took pretty good care of their stuff. Poolrooms are poolrooms, though...so it's NOT perfect.

Hope this answers your questions, sir.

As to location...I see that Butler/Wayne is north of Union, NJ....so I'd ballpark it at about 5 hours away, by car/truck/powered wagon.

Just so I know....

Who would I go through, if a request to ship the table came about?? I've sold and shipped my fair share of cues....but last I checked, I can't fit the table in a tube.

How do I go about having a table shipped, if need be? Do billiard supply places take care of that kind of thing....or a moving company....???

Any info would help.

Mark,

You can call some of your local moving companies and get quotes. Most will move a pool table.

Good Luck!

East Coast Dinner-time discussion BUMP. Get your better half hopped up on leftover Turkey and stuffing...then drop this bomb on her (or him). Take advantage of the Turkey coma, and pick up a great table at an unbeatable price!!!

Hell....I'll even pay half the gas money for anybody located in PA, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Delaware, New York, and New Jersey!!!!

I knew it... I just freaking knew it.... just paid for a table yesterday..... from a dealer....course driving from Atl would have been a pain.. but still.... /sigh

Hell...the drive from Atlanta to here and back to get this table would STILL be cheaper than a new one....not to mention the table light, 2 sets of balls, etc.

I can give you good directions from there to here....if need be!! :) :) ;)

Back-to-work BUMP, BUMP!!!

$600 gets it done, ya'll. That's as low as I can go. PLEASE don't make me resort to flea-bay!!!! :( :(

Mid-day bump from the bottom of page 2.

A couple interested parties..but nothing's panned out quite yet.

I'd also consider a table-for-cue trade......

Final bump.

Still have one or two folks "on the fence" about the table....but as of now, it's still available.

I'd hate to put this up on E-bay, ya'll.....

P.S. - Thanks, Joe. I called Roger last night, and am currently awaiting a callback from him. Much appreciated, sir.

Sheesh Mark. Don't you want to keep your table? I'll loan you $600 if you need some cash bud. Let me know. I think you'll regret selling it!

Hiya Matt,

It's not that I don't want to keep it...and it's not that I need the money....it's that with the extra room we need for the expanding family, we have to move....and relatively quickly. I can't let the table be a driving force behind the relocation....and I damn sure don't want it to be in storage for 2-4 years. That's just a waste.

Got room in your new place for your very own table??!! :) :) ;)

Tough to get a place big enough around here for a 9'er FOR SURE!

That's why I am out here in the woods (but not for work. DAMMIT!)!
