If you hang out in bars long enough you will learn to play pool or darts or both.
So I'm starting to learn how to play darts now, pool is still king in my book. While practicing darts last night a buddy and I started arguing which is harder pool or darts. I was for pool and he was for darts. I've played pool for a lot longer than he has. He's been playing darts longer than I have. Our conversation naturally strayed into learning how to master a game or sport in general. He has played minor league baseball and was a champion wrestler at Michigan U so he knows a lot about utilizing natural talent, muscle memory, concentration and practicing. Although pool is probably the only thing I'm really good at, I try to approach this argument with an open mind and not be too biased.
So I posed the question to him, what would be the equivalent of a 9 dart finish in pool?
13 9ball Break and Runs?
10 8ball Break and Runs?
400 ball run in 14.1?
A perfect .1000 in Accu Stats?
other? (pls. describe)
I am assuming a lot of you in the AZB community probably play both. Probably for a lot longer than I have.
If you could weigh in I think it would be interesting . . . .
thanks!
