90 90 aiming sucks

I am sure he probably doesn’t as there are so many different ways to get there. Maybe the end goal of any aiming system is to get your sight picture and from there it becomes automatic after seeing the same picture time after time after time. I know Tobias Bongers uses Samba and he is one hell of a player. For me I think it comes down to eye pattern. I know when I look at the contact point, I tend to steer it. When I just am aware of its presence like CJ Wiley and Stan Shuffett advocate I tend to be more accurate. I think that’s why 90/90 and cte work best for me. It goes against what Randyg wants as he wants me to get my eyes up to the contact point but it just doesn’t work as well for me. I try and look at the context point with my peripheral vision sort of. Not sure if that makes sense. Lol.

Hard to believe he wouldn’t use a kicking system. Awfully tough to do it on your own when the diamonds really help you. Possible I suppose.

Cty, Ron did teach a system using the reflection of the light on the balls. I have the book that explains that system.
The 90-90 system is easier to use. Really only three points of aim depending on the cut. 90-90, 90-center, and 90-90 reverse. Using spin is extremely easy with this system.

The best description of the book and video was written by someone here on az. It said," is feel like I missed the beginning of the video". The book and video show you many shots using the three aiming points I mentioned above. I think he failed to completely explain the system. I do not believe you can learn from his material.

Would love to read that book. Ron was a real innovator. Agree that his explanations struggled at times.

When ron worked on 90-90 he edited the pics. You can see that 90 was originally to mean you were aiming at 90% of the object ball. All of these shots are center ball hits on the cue ball. There was no swivel.
