9ball scorekeeping app

It really is awesome

I've had it since the first version, and it's always been good. This updated version is great, though. I tell everyone I play against about it, because it just makes scorekeeping so much easier.

Awesome, thanks! I use the American Rotaion app & have been wishing there was one for 9-ball (APA style). Now, if it was interfaced with the league so we didn't have to use paper it would be a huge hit.

I would love to be able to do that, maybe someday I can get their blessing. But as is, it makes it a lot easier to keep score, even for people who have never been able to do it on paper. Its also makes it convenient to have practice matches.

About 10 years ago I demonstrated live at APA Nationals a crude (by today's standards), but effective, Excel nine ball scoring program in color. We used it locally then transferred totals to paper at the of the night. I didn't want anything but to make it fun scoring their insane stick figures that could lead to blindness prehistoric system. Every team player learned how to keep score and didn't mind doing it when asked. Their (Big APA)response: we just ordered five zillion printed score sheets and are not interested. Every other league has some electronic scoring program and ironically the largest league in the world will be leading from (Obama's) behind.

Yes I've had a similar conversation with them. This app just makes it easy to get the numbers you need to fill out a score sheet while still being able to socialize with your team. It's also good for singles and doubles tournaments when you end up having to keep your own score.

Great app, need more professional GUI though!

Thank you. I'm constantly working on improvements. I know the visuals could use some work. I'll keep tweaking and updating as long as people are finding it useful.

Thanks. Glad you like it. And a million thanks for sharing with you opponents.

I've successfully evaded keeping 9 ball score sheets until this app came about. It makes it so easy to do that even I can do it. Everybody that plays APA 9ball needs this app. I think if you act fast, it comes with a free copy of "Journey of an Awesome Champion", a truly touching look into the triumph of a special needs child into a special needs APA machine.

It's definitely on my list of things to do. But first I'll have to learn the android programming language and how to use their development kit.

You might want to look into tools like Xamarin that let you develop once and compile to other target platforms. Some of them are a little more pricey than you may be used to but that might pay off in the long run if you get more paid downloads.

Also, some of the form helpers they use might help you improve the usability a little.

Just a suggestion.
