Hiya Jenn,

rackmsuckr has posted some days ago a link to a site where they say that the movie ull apear in, will have a tshirt contest, and the winner will rescieve a trip and a role in the movie. now u know how much id like to meet u one day, so i was thinking of entering the competition, as im pritty ok with drawing skills. BUT , i was wondering:

- Can a european person participate? IF i should win, do u know if they will pay for the trip from belgium to the US?

- Do u have any more info on this? what we need to design on the shirt? etc etc? what is the thsirt for so i can start brainstorming on what to design.

- Will u chose the winner? :D :p :D

ok , ill do so Jenn. Thx for the good luck, ill need it. Good luck for u too on the tours, and with the movie. Ive been watching with my gf poolhalljunkies 3 times in a row last night, and we really need a new movie to watch. SO I hope the movie will come out soon, so we can watch it.

What about the Classic "The Hustler" and Color of Money?:)

It is a Pool Hustler/Con man movie, starring VIng Rhaimes and Freddie Prinze Jr. Freddie play's a Hustler named Jherico and Ving plays a pool room owner con man gambler. And it is a long involved story that involves some really bad acting:) and some seedy New Orleans locations. It is a ok movie to watch when you just want to be a couch potato with your partner and stuff your face with popcorn.:) My wife got hold of a advance promo copy for me as a x-mas present. It is at Hollywood video and Blockbuster for rent now. I would send it to you, but Twinkles is on guard duty and I cant get into the DVD cabinet. Not to mention that fact that my wife would Kill me.

This talk about pool movies makes me laugh. Hemicudas posted a thread on the main forum about a pool movie made here in my home town in the 1970's called "The Player". It featured "Minnesota Fats" in a role. You'll NEVER find a copy of this movie and it's not even listed on imdb, that's how bad the movie was rumoured to be. Hemi has a trailer for the movie.

Terry < was 9 or 10 when this movie came out so wonders if it could really be that bad.
 
I just want to clarify that the movie "shooting Gallery" really sucked, I mean Vingh Rhames & Freddie Prince Jr. who plays a guy named "jericho" the only good part was a funny line in the beginning when he says " 8ball says you lose" & a lot of the guys might like it better because of the chick thats in the movie, she's mostly half naked...But incase no one got my point the first time I will say it again, THE MOVIE WAS BAD....... THANK YOU...:cool: :rolleyes: :D
 
Barreta's movie does sound like it will be better just because the female take on pool has not been produced. Just hope she lets it live up to the expectation, and writes in some of her own words.
 
what am I kidding, barretas got a homeroom in nyc, of course shes going to exceed expectation. Just curious how many girls are going to see her as a role model considering shes posed in playboy. No I have not seen her in playboy but I have seen her website and it is explcitly graphic.

I haven't seen that one yet but Ving Rhames is my favorite actor of all time, Freddie Prince Jr. on the other hand is as bad as Ben Affleck. If anyone ever gets the chance to read up about Rhames I would highly recomend it, he's not the average person and definitely not the person you would think from watching his movies, highly spiritual and religious.
 
im not used to girls so secure in their looks to have pictures like that lying around. So its just new to me thats all.
