anyone know if there are going to be 9 footers at valley forge that are available for playing/matching up? or only bar boxes?

also, is there a poolhall around there with 9 footers?

thanks

Sorry, only bar boxes. The only 9-gooters will be in the Pro Arena and that will be closed when not in use.

here's a list of some good rooms to check out, from closest to the expo to furthest:

Classics Billiards in Phoenixville (15 min)...Should be action there during the expo, Steve the owner is good friends with Charlie Williams, and Mika, so you might see them there.

D&D Family billiards (30 min)...where I worked, great old school room, the owner Micky a great guy, and is poster thehouseman on AZ.

Harry's in Frazer (30min), they have late night tournys during the expo, not sure about action, I never could get any there?

Drexeline Billiards in Drexel hill(45min)...owner Bob Maidhoff...cold blooded killer at any game, great action room, closer to Philly, great equipment and pool hall feel..

Markley Billiards in Norristown (30min) its been a while, but we always found action there, in the basement of a mall, .

From there its to Philly and places like Family billiards in Feasterville owned by The Fusco's Petey and Jimmy. ALL the action you could ever think of. and Karen Core playes there.

or Tacony Billiards under the Tacony Palmira bridge. ACTION CITY.....players I've seen there include Efren, Busta, Frankie Hernandez, Hopkins, Ginky etc. you can't spit without hitting a world beater

Thats all I can think of right now, and don't for get to hit Delaware plenty o places there too.

Gerry,

When was the last time you visited back north?

Pete sold Family Billiards and opened a new room in Bristol named "The Spot".

Tacony Billiards is not under the Tacony Bridge, but located At Keystone and Robbins Streets in NE Philly.

But yeah, for the best action, Tacony's the place.
