Yes, there is absolutely a difference. The post flood cloth is/(was?) produced on different looms and is NOT the same as the old stuff.
The new stuff plays fine, most people don't notice the difference once it is installed. It does stretch a little differently, and the weave and final surface is slightly different.

My mechanic that is coming to do a rail swap said that there is a color difference. My new rails were pre flood and he is bringing a couple different sets of cloth down to make sure they match as close as possible to the rails. Sounds like a post above indicates different looms as well. Anyway GLWS
