A 2013 Main Forum Thread:do 3 cushion players make good pocket pool players

I am worse at pool then I am at Carom : )

I always respected the "all arounder" and what I mean by that term is guys at the billiard hall that played Pool, Snooker/Golf, and any Carom game ( but usually being three cushions).
 
Pool is embarrassing for me to play.

I was in a tavern close to a Hotel I stay last night. They have decent food. I sat and watched the league play. They're complaining "how did I miss that shot". I'm thinking "how do you make any shot" .

As badly as I pocket balls I think based on what I saw I'd be the champ. Pitiful I actually cornered the owner and suggested that he bring in a Scott Lee any other instructor for a weekend school.

Unfortunately he was more worried on winning that helping his customers. Sad
